Queen Elizabeth II in 1956 paid a visit to the Lord Lugard house in Kaduna, northern part of Nigeria where she was received by Nigerian leaders.

4 years later, Nigeria was became independent and the colonial masters withdrew their control over the country.

Elizabeth II has been Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand since 6 February 1952. She is currently 91 years old.
