ARSENAL 1-1 CHELSEA (Arsenal win 4-1 on penalties) Arsenal won the first trophy of the 2017-18 season against Chelsea through spot kicks after an entertaining and controversial Community Shield in the sunshine at Wembley. Victor Moses  when just after half time  smashed a wonderful ball past Petr Cech from six yards. However, with 10 minutes to play Pedro was sent off for a tackle on Mohamed Elneny, and from the resulting free kick debutant Saed Kolasinac headed past Thibaut Courtois.
